Tenant Fees
Holding Deposit – Equivalent to 1 weeks rent
Security Deposit – Equivalent to 5 weeks rent
First Month Rent in Advance – One months rent
Additional Permitted Payments, if required:
- Payments in the event of a default (such as loss of keys/failure to make rent payment within 14 days)
- Payment on Termination (surrender) of property – Payment not to exceed loss suffered by landlord or reasonable cost incurred by agents.
- Payments in respect of Council Tax
- Payments for utilities/TV Licence/Landline/Cable or Satellite TV
- Green Deal Charge – A payment towards Energy Efficient Improvement, if applicable.
- Payment for variation of tenancy (Such as change of sharers etc) – limited to £50 inc vat
- Fees for non-Assured Shorthold Tenancies – Where the Tenant is entering into a non- Assured Shorthold or non-Licence Tenancy, fees of £175 inc VAT per Tenant for referencing and £255 inc VAT for the preparation of Tenancy documents will apply. The Tenant will also be liable for the inventory and check-out cost at the end of the Tenancy.
